Unity in Diversity Companies

Managing a culturally diverse workforce is often a difficult task. In many companies, rather than being leveraged to create and develop new opportunities, ‘cultural diversity’ is unfortunately ignored. This can lead to misunderstanding and disruption. On the contrary, where cultural diversity is managed and leveraged, companies build mutual understanding, acceptance and respect among the workforce and increase productivity.

With more migration today than ever in human history, there is a significant increase in the number of people from different cultural, religious and ethnic backgrounds coexisting and competing for jobs. What does this mean for companies? Simply, that taking the steps to manage and leverage cultural diversity and build ‘unity in diversity’ can have a significant impact on a company.
