Nakuru Spring Camp - April 2019

Project by: World Radiance International

50 young participants participated in the spring camp. It was challenging, though rewarding process to deliver the event. We are hopeful the same group will deliver for our on coming summer camp. The youth were engaged on cultural diversity matters and the Environment Club engaged them with Kenya Wildlife services. They were taught how different cultures practice environment conservation. eg A kikuyus values fig tree. The tradition has a myth if anybody goes around seven times the tree, the gender changes from man to woman and vice versa. As the result, the community would not cut down the tree… hence a plus from deforestation.
